What made it worse is that there was grease or oil coating the … Unless the manufacturer packaging of his item is changed it will not do well. Perhaps I received a rare defective item? I don’t know. I had difficulty tearing away the plastic from the compass itself and was not able to fully remove the plastic surrounding the bolt. What made it worse is that there was grease or oil coating the plastic and the compass itself.
Great large drawing compass Very nice and sturdy large compass. I use it to rough out large circular patterns for woodworking projects. It is perfectly suited for this. It will accept any standard size pencil, and has been durable and trouble free.
Good compass with one small nag This compass works like a champ and feels very durable.My only issue with it is the pencil that I am using is too long and hits the adjuster at the top. I could certainly use a shorter pencil, or they could redesign it so that the adjuster and the pencil holder are on opposite sides.I would buy this again.
