PowerTap™ functionality allows the user to tap the right side of the unit to instantly transition to full power.
Brightness Memory allows the last used brightness setting to be used when turned back on.
Settings feature proximity and distance modes, dimming, strobe, and red night-vision lock mode.
Red night-vision mode includes proximity and strobe settings, and is activated without the need of cycling through the white mode.
IPX 67 rating is waterproof and dustproof, allowing for completely immersion for up to an hour and a half.
Press and hold both buttons for three seconds to lock the headlamp. Repeat again to unlock.

Bought for Hunting I bought this product for hunting and it does exactly what I need. I was able to walk from the ATV to my hunting locations in complete darkness with no issues using the green light and even came within 30 yards of hogs and slipped into my blind unnoticed. After I was done hunting I hit the regular light to full power and it worked out to 100 yards as advertised and I felt safe walking out. I will never keep it on for more than 30 minutes or so at full power so I am not sure about it dimming…
Excellent product for a good price. These days, when you can find online promises of 1000lm or 10,000lm headlights & flashlights, it’s refreshing to see that Black Diamond holds its own. With 375lm, this headlight, as I suspected bested one from a less reputable source, which boasted of having 3000lm.Pros:design,weight,light power (lm@max)the touch to max proprietary ability to skip directly to maximum power.super easy to operateprice – bang-4-buckCons:none so far.
Huge Design Flaw, read reviews before buying! Have exchange it twice and all 3 have had the same issue. They turn off after about an hour and wonât turn back on till they cool off. Other than this, hands down the best headlamp on the market, but is a deal breaker. Who wants to sit in the dark woods waiting for their light to work. I should have list to everyone else and stayed away.
