Works excellent. Learn how to use before you need it. I am quite impressed with this light. It is much lighter than my older heavy model. I used the flood mode to hike through the rain forrest in Puerto Rico at night in a storm and it worked wonderfully to illuminate the way. For longer distances it was easy to switch to spot mode. The other modes are a little difficult to find but wih a little practice I figured it out. Learn how to ise this light BEFORE you are needing it in the dark, like you should with all of your safety equipment.
Powerful, Made to Last After extensive research I found this to be one of the top products. I bought this item before I left for my annual military training and was excited to break it in during tactical exercises. The only doubt that I had came due to the price tag but the value greatly outweighs the cost of the item.
Light it up!! This head lamp performed above my expectations. Out performs many of its competitors. From my experience its battery efficiency is on point for its class, however would like to see a recharge able battery pack for it. I use a lamp several times a year backpacking/work generally counting use for 12+ hours at a time and this thing just would not give up even on the brightest setting.
