Great price and great poles… except for the handles I had a pair of Leki antishock poles with cork handles for 9 years, and they have been fantastic. When the twist lock cams started to wear out finally, I decided to try something different.

Best sticks I’ve ever owned They’re the gold standard of hiking poles as far as I’m concerned. Light but strong, well-engineered grip that doesn’t get slippery from sweat or rain, clasps rather then screw tighteners, and just enough spring to give you just a bit more help than stiff poles (or at least it seems so). I’ve been hiking a long time. Best sticks I’ve ever owned.

Deja Revu says:

Quality Gear Quality gear and useful on the trail. I’d always thought trekking poles were a might dorky and just something to get in the way. As I’ve gotten older, I’d like to think I’ve gotten wiser, but this isn’t what caused me to change my mind regarding the poles. It’s more a case of body parts starting to show some wear and tear.
