This axe is very well built and bites very well into logs and has not faulted yet. It seems quite difficult to argue with it besides the handle being a little short for a splitting type of axe head but overall it’s an axe worth buying and worth keeping.
Great review changed to bad I had originally gave this a great rating. I am now changing that for a couple reasons. This is a composite handle ax. In a very odd location, the ax broke right in half. Never would we have thought that chopping a 4″ diameter branch would cause that. I do understand that things can oddly happen without reason or proper cause. Well balanced, comfy, and easy splitting Axe Been spilling fire wood for more than 4 decades. I am a Forester, and ‘Bush-Whack’ for a living….including Data Collection, and Digital Mapping.I get my choice of wood to burn in my Jotul.
