As VITCHELO rapidly become a major player in the outdoor lighting market, the company’s V800 Plus headlamp is the latest example of smart design combined with all the features and functions users demand.
The red light headlamp can illuminate objects and people up to 120 yards away, separate buttons control the white and red LEDs (a feature rarely seen on other headlamps), and in addition, users can select spotlight or floodlight settings in the white light mode.
The headlamp also offer a dimming function to help preserve battery life, a boost mode to immediately bring the headlamp to maximum brightness and a lockout function to prevent accidental power on.
Unlike other headlamps, the V800 Plus is not limited to sporting pursuits. The headlamp is also useful for reading in dim light, walking the dog without the need for a flashlight, and doing housework or construction work where no light source is available.
Like burning 168 candles at 3.28ft, a set of CREE r3 cool white LED bulbs with reflectors provides 168 lumens of brightness while the soft elastic headband keeps the device firmly in place without skimping on comfort or style.
Just like its predecessor, the V800 PLUS Headlamp is praised for all the usual reasons: Its bright, long-lasting light is superior to that of similar options, and it comes with a nice dose of watherproofing as well as a warranty.

Bang for the buck! Just received this head lamp and it seems that someone finally realized that folks don’t want to “step through’ 23 different settings each time they turn on their light. Having separate switches for red and white lights is very convenient, and the “touch to full” feature will likely prove helpful as well. For those that missed it (I almost did); what I mean by “touch to full” is this – once you turn on the light (red or white), you can hold down the button until it dims to…
it goes. I purchased this some time ago for my trip down to Costa Rica with the need of a headlamp for helping save sea turtles. The white light is great and the separate settings are perfect. The red light could be a bit stronger but it served its purpose wonderfully. Having said this, the red light on this headlamp exceeded all other headlamps’ abilities brought in by other individuals. I used this light for 19 days straight. It went through pouring rain, the spray of the ocean, humid conditions,…

While this had the red and white lights which was nice, it was a pretty ‘average’ headlamp. The killer is that I dropped it and the plastic hinge broke and cannot be fixed. While it was an ok unit it is NOT very durable- made from light weight plastic – if you drop it, there is a good chance it will break. Will not buy from this manufacturer again.
