This is for the NEW (2017) redesigned model of this product The concept is great, a large-capacity Brita filtered water pitcher for the fridge with a handy spigot so the whole thing doesn’t have to be removed for each use. I’ve always seen the convenience in that idea compared to the Brita filtration pitchers I’ve used for years that take up space in my refrigerator door and have to be refilled after each use.

Love It! How did I live without this? It’s so conveintent to have versus a Brita pitcher. I felt like I kept refilling the pitchers over and over, this bad boy bold a lot of water, spout works well, and filters quickly. Overall one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon.

Returned Brita pitcher and left behind a year’s supply of filters … PUR pitcher is that much better! I was between this and the Pur 18 cup dispenser. I’ve used a Brita pitcher for 10 years and been happy with it. Couldn’t find any conclusive reviews saying why one pitcher’s better than the other. Since I had a year’s supply of Brita filters already, I went with the Brita. This one leaked out of the box! Also, spout on the Brita is raised off the bottom!
