It’s a good design and works well I received mine today. Ignore the reviews that say the top falls off, isn’t secure, etc. That’s all “operator error”, not a design flaw. If the filter is inserted without the slot in the side of the filter aligned with the fin projection in the reservoir, the filter will not fully seat in position. Yes, this will cause the lid to be loose. Just rotate the filter to the correct position, and it will snap down securely. Then the lid will fit properly and is not loose at all. It…

Very disappointed with Brita, I am disappointed with Brita. The lid fell apart within fifteen minutes. I would have returned it but I want filtered water after having major surgery so I am using a pitcher with a broken lid. The Brita pitcher I purchased just a few months ago broke so I had to replace it with this one. My opinion of Brita has changed greatly over the past few months. I used to buy Zero Water filter but due to cuts in my income, I can no longer afford them. I think I need to find a way to afford Zero Water…

Don’t Flip Your Lid! It Fits!! OK, I read a lot of reviews about the lid not going on properly and I even had a moment myself where I was like, “The filter is in correctly and the lid isn’t fitting! WTF!?” But the filter wasn’t in correctly like I thought…
