Poor filter body holder hardware The filters are excellent, but the filter holder hardware are very poorly designed. After a couple of months, leaks develop at the swivel joint that quickly leads to the filter body spraying water all over the place resulting in requiring a purchase of a new filter body. Also the handle to turn from regular water to filtered water becomes very stiff over time and it is almost impossible to move it. Once this occurs you know that the product will fail with a leak at the swivel joint. The…

Manufacture redesign I guess This is my third unit over the last decade. The first was purchased right here on Amazon and worked flawlessly for years. An attempt to remove hard water scale after the years and many filters of use resulted in catastrophic failure but, I got my money’s worth. The second was bought at a local grocery. For whatever reason they shortened the adapter threads ridiculously and I ran into the same issue other reviewers have brought up; faulty adapters. It went back to the grocery store.

Great filter, major design flaw. The filter works fine as far as filters go, in fact it’s great. So great that I have purchased 6 of them over the course of a few years. Not to give them to family or friends nor because of some financial boon that allowed me to purchase a home with seven kitchens.
