When you’re away from your bed, make sure you still get a good night sleep. With a Browning Camping cot, you’re sure to do just that. The cot has sturdy steel connectors combined with 600D polyester fabric to make your bed-away-from-home as comfortable as possible. It has an aluminum frame making it lightweight, but strong. The detachable side pocket is nice so you can keep your small items close at night and then bring them along with you when you wake up in the morning. Another nice feature is the large, velcro “pillow” pocket that you can store clothes or other padding in to create a headrest at the height you prefer. The angled legs keep the cot from “rocking” at night and the telescoping support in the center makes the cot even more strong than the traditional x-leg cot. It folds up easily and fits into a carry bag so it transports and stores easily when not in use.

This cot is huge! This thing could likely fit a twin bed mattress on top of it. Thats how big it is. Not too bad to sleep on. Getting out of it is a little bit of a chore. Putting end poles little strenuous to seat in knobs. I’ll give it four stars.

Nice Heavy Duty Cot This is a very nice heavy duty cot. Materials appear to be of high quality and look like they will take a beating. The XL size is larger and heavier than most standard cots so be aware of dimensions if size or weight are an issue for you. The braces in the middle supported my weight (200lbs) when sitting on the edge, but the cot is fairly tall so your feet will stretch to tippy toes to reach the ground bellow. It comes in a carry bag, the carry bag is not the same high quality as the cot…

Good features, but….. I really liked the size (length and width); I was able to place two twin sized foam pads (one on top of the other) to make the cot very comfy for my “olditis” condition (gettin’ too old to sleep without some cushioning!). I did struggle to put the cot together, mostly the upper cross pieces at either end of the cot; it’s hard to do the simultaneous push-pull needed to seat the final cross piece if you’re setting up alone. Worked up a sweat & had a few choice words during my trial run;…
