Great easy to hand program radio. 7w is nice gets out Okay.. I have been a ham since around 1983 with the old novice program and have had maybe 2 dozen ht’s over the year’s.. this is my first dmr. I was able to be on an analog repeater in about 3 min hand programming. Which is great some of the other Chinese radios are not intuitive this one is. Dmr took me about a day mainly because I am on the fringe of a repeater. But overall 10 of 10. Battery life great with the small bat haven’t needed the large one get 2 days of rag chewing and using it…

Not for the Ham looking for a plug and play experience Where to start!! Seems well made. Manual is terrible!!!!!! Even basic things like setting the time and date are missing, the manual is written from the perspective of someone who already knows the radio. Programming software? Good luck not in the box and the site it sort of directs you to mentions that Chirp is not compatible and if you spend hours on forums you’ll finally figure out the programming software is imbedded in the firmware update zip file, perfect!! After you get thru all of the…

great buy I purchase an Anytone and it was defective so I returned it. I replace it with the BTech. The BTech came with an additional batery (2100 mAh) and it was shipped prime. I found out later that it is an improved version of the Anytone. I find it a pleasure to use and I love the display. It also is capable of containing the entire DMR database.
