Excellent knife! I also have the full sized version of this knife but needed something for small game, specifically squirrels. This fits the bill perfectly. The handle is a little small but is still plenty big enough to maintain complete control of the blade. It sharpens well and retains its edge. I find myself using it for all sorts of things in the kitchen, even as a steak knife. With a full tang and excellent steal I imagine I’ll have this knife for a very long time.
Nice grip Excellent knife. Compared to 673 blade is 1/16″ shorter, handle 1/4″ longer, grip is center cross hatched.
Cheap USA made knife Bought it to leave in my truck for misc use, but the blade shape and grippy handle make it great for skinning. The hollow grind is super thin. Excellent for normal knife tasks. Not made for abuse. Sheath sucks but is usable. No reason to buy cheap Chinese knives when Buck offers knives made in the USA just as cheap.
