Smaller folding knife, very good quality for everyday use Another gift given, and my husband loved it. He wanted a basic knife to carry around for times when one needs a sharp edge, I found this on a deal and thought it might do. Almost six months later and I’ve seen him using it repeatedly on different things without any trouble at all. He recommends this knife to anyone wanting a smaller folding knife. Quality is sturdy but not heavy, feels in your hand like it will last a while.
A bit too small for me .. Nice quality pocket knife, holds an excellent edge. The pivot hinge is smooth and certain, as is the lock. Handle shape is comfortable and the blade nests perfectly in the recess. The only negative I have is that the size is a bit too small and there is no pocket clip. For me a 4″ or so blade in the same geometry would be ideal and I do believe that Buck produces one. I should have looked further before buying, but still, this is a very nice quality pocket knife !
I like it! I am very pleased. The knife is lightweight but appears to be plenty strong for reasonable use. Opening is easy, despite the small size. The lock is positive, and gives a reassuring click when engaged. Although safety keeps me from trying too hard without a more elaborate setup, I have not been able to overpower the lock and force the blade to fold up without releasing it first. Having had a couple of lock-backs that were a lot less reliable, this is a very big deal to me, as I am fond of…
