Work Great, stand up to heat, and don’t feel or look like cheap plastic. Bought these to use with stick free cookware and they are great, can handle high temperatures without melt and are cool to the touch, and most of all, don’t scratch the stick free interiors of my pans and Alpha Stoneware Wok.
Nice, but not completely heat resistant It should be noted that, while the bottom half of each utensil is heat resistant, the top half (above the gray spacer) is not. This portion of the utensil melts on contact with any hot pot or pan. My wife and I have already ruined three of them by inadvertently touching them to the side of hot cookware. A disclaimer should appear in the product description.
Completely satisfied These are as well designed as the pans. I chose to abandon the hodge-podge assortment of utensils and continue with the Caphalon products I already own. I am NOT a professional chief but I use these for cooking my every day meals and they are STURDY. There have been no meals that I cannot concoct that challenge the integrity of these items. They are seemingly impervious to hot liquids, dish washers and man-handling everything from gumbo to marinara. I am completely satisfied.
