Love this bottle I’m part of a search and rescue team in AZ. It was 110 in the mountains on a mission yesterday. I filled the bottle with ice and water. And used it all day. I just kept pouring my warm water bottles into it to resupply. The ice stayed all day. I knew it would because I tested the bottle by filling it to top with ice and water, and leaving in my truck that reached temps of over 130 for 2 days. Still had ice left.
Worth every penny. Leak proof and ice retaining After a lot of searching, video reviews, and online lists, I finally decided to purchase this for my daily driver bottle. The Camelback Chute has been amazing. It is larger than the Yeti cups and some Flasks, keeps ice for over 36 hours, and the cap is 100% leak proof (I sometimes throw in some Lipton tea mix and shake to mix in the bottle). Do this if you don’t like the cap in your way I bought this for a trip to Nicaragua to use at the beach while surfing all day. It was really nice to have and not waste plastic bottles. It kept the water cool even as it sat in my bookbag or car in the hot climate. It has never leaked and seems to be holding up well for the 2 months I’ve used it.
