Very happy to find a great 12-ounce travel mug. For some reason not many stores carry 12 ounce travel mugs. I was very happy to find this. I’ve been using it for about a year now and it works great. No spillage when I am walking or driving. No problems with the paint so it has worn quite well. It keeps my coffee warm for long enough for me to get to work and drink it so from start to finish about 2 hours–it may keep it warmer for longer but I am generally done drinking around then. Camelbak mug, I wish I could love you but you fall so short. I purchased two of these and I really thought they were the best traveling mugs I’ve owned.But in BOTH cases, in less than a year, the tops broke. In one case a crack appeared along the rim and it started leaking on me in a meeting. In the second case the plunger mechanism broke and popped up awkwardly from its intended position, rendering the seal broken and the second mug useless. Awesome, until they’re not – cracked and leaking in four months I’ve owned three of these in the 12 oz size in the last 4 months. The first I received as a gift. I liked the first one so much that I immediately procured another from Amazon, as I usually consume around 24 oz of coffee per day. Subsequently I lost one on a business trip, and I purchased a replacement from Amazon immediately (couldn’t get here fast enough). I will say that these are close to perfect travel coffee mugs.
