Lightest Ice Axe Ever! This is the lightest ice axe I’ve ever seen, felt, used, or heard about. Sure, it’s not as useful as a standard ice axe (snow gets lodged in the bottom, e.g.), but it RULES for backpacking given its light weight. Oh yeah!

Too light for its own good. Only for shoulder season mountain hikes, crossing passes, etc. Not for serious mountaineering use.
