I am generally in search for off brand products to see how the off brand product is compared to the products they rip off. at times I find my self impressed on how well they work. I see this is a Knock off product of the Le Picoeur by Doug Marcaida and Bastinelli Knives. No Retention The blade is very sharp but the sheath has no retention.You need to take a heat gun to it and better know what you are doing or it will be ruined.You cannot use this knife if the sheath is no good.

A good concept, but it has issues. As karambit-style knives go, this one isn’t bad. It is vert compact, but solidly built. I have 3 main issues with it. First is the size of the handle. the 4 inch measurement given in the technical details is more of less correct, but it measures to the end of the finger loop, not the actual size of the gripping area. This means that it sits about 1/2 an inch higher in your hand than you would expect. If you have large hands, this means the base of the blade is either touching…
