Get this instead of Yeti. You can’t go wrong with Canyon coolers. They beat Yeti coolers in price for performance. Tested the coolers in the desert. I was in the Grand Canyon, this past two weeks. My beers stayed chilled even when the cooler sat in the car under the sun for two days. What more do you want?

Excellent value There are so many coolers that are waaaay over $100, and so overall this cooler is an excellent value. I’ve used it for tailgating several times now and here’s the pros: (1) it is relatively lightweight (2) shoulder strap is nice (3) clasp mechanisms are nice and (4) keeps my beer very cold. I pre-chill the cooler, fill it with cold beer and a frozen cooler pack, and the beer is still very very cold 24+ hours later. Did not work for me 7 # cube ice last less than 24 hours, 10# block ice last less than 48 hours, even with pre cooled items. Claims of exceptional ice life are not accurate. This was in the interior of an RV, thus a temperate environment. My other, much cheaper, coolers do a better job at 1/3 the price and in harsher environment. It is strong so if you are concerned about it falling off a cliff or maybe off the back of your truck at highway speeds it might be worth it. And it does not have a drain plug. What…
