I wear a 9.5 women’s and these were just slightly large on me, and did shrink slightly when I washed them; so they fit fine. Would fit larger feet, might be too big if less than a size 8. Larger than size indicates Well the reviews were right. The socks are huge. These socks would be a size LARGE in any other brand. I wear size 8 shoe and the socks fit like a size 10 shoe. Wonderful socks, well made and I love them, though! I put them in the kitchen sink with hot water from the tea kettle and faucet then spun in washer. Dried on high heat for an hour and they shrunk! Still wish they were smaller but they will work.

THICK, but super TOASTY for your tootsies. I usually have an issue with wool, but with only 1% in these, I have absolutely NO problems. Make sure your boots have enough room for THICK socks, these are very thick, but super TOASTY on your tootsies. I have small feet – I wear 6 1/2 in athletic shoes, but 7 in hiking boots – and these are great for my looser hiking boots even with being a little bit large on my feet.
