Almost Perfect; Great for the Money! This is the first Case knife I’ve bought, and I’m duly impressed. I have other “premium” brand pocket knives, as well as a slew of less glamorous brands (e.g., Opinel and Victorinox) for comparison, and I find myself carrying the Case much more than I thought I would.First off, the fit and finish are excellent. Beautiful and razor sharp! Great craftsmenship. Very sharp out of box! I literally closed this and touched it on the inside of my finger and was sliced. It is a beautiful knife. I opted for the leather sheath/case and I am really glad I did. I was concerned that the knife would be too small but it’s actually the perfect size to wear everyday.
Case knives legacy I have owned 6 of these knives. Why? Because I always end up giving them to one of my friends that I hunt with. I hunt wild boar in California. I use these knives for dressing out hogs. My buddies are always blown away with how efficient they are for skinning and gutting animals. In the spirit of hunting and friendship I usually hand those envious buddies this knife in remembrance of our hunt together. Life’s short. Get outdoors and live it!!!
