Neither the compass nor the thermometer work on the one I received The thermometer hovered between 75 and 80 degrees no matter what I did. I had a Casio TS-150 and it gave the temperature fairly well without needing an extensive period of time. The manual states 20-30 minutes are needed with this watch to get an accurate reading. That is ridiculous when you think about it. A whole bowel of soup is cold in that amount of time. I wish they still made the TS-150. Ah, but this one has a compass. Exceeds All Expectations! I love this watch! It’s perfect. It has everything I could ever need in a watch. I wanted a watch for survival purposes and the compass on this one is accurate enough to get me to the nearest known body of water, road, or town. Also, I highly suggest that you look up your local magnetic declination and set it in the watch.
