Bad fitting lid. Poor lid fit. it doesn’t twist on smooth and there’s an uneven gap between the seems when the cap is fully twisted on. But mine doesn’t seem to leak (yet) so I’ll be keeping it. It’s only one of two 16 oz thermos jars with a true stainless steel bottom under the cap. It’s not plastic. The smooth stainless steel lid is also difficult to grip and open, especially if you have wet hands.. Definitely not for young kids with small hands.
