Works as it should We used this all weekend at Winter 4×4 Jamboree in southern Utah with our handheld Uniden. Needed an adapter. Works great. The magnet is strong and it didnât shift at all after 50+ miles of off-road driving and 20 miles of highway / interstate driving. We were able to hear the trail leader and the tail gunner perfectly in a 30 Jeep group.
Very poor quality Granted, I did not order the highest priced selection, but this was really terrible quality. The set screw that holds the antenna to the base stripped with absolutely no torque applied. The antenna tip ballast (small piece at the very tip of the antenna) also can’t be tightened. Don’t waste your money. Pay a bit more and get something that will work at least once.
Fast and looks easy to install I just got a CB from a friend and now the Antenna came in fast. It cam with easy directions. Can’t ask for more. Can’t wait to try it.
