Very Impressive piece of cutlery. Pros: Extremely well-crafted, heavy-duty piece of equipment with a borderline ‘exotic’ feel — which is what I wanted, to wear as a scoutmaster of 30 boys in a troop. Great blade! So far very happy with this knife. I am the first to admit I don’t have a lot of experience with survival skills or these types of knives. I would definitely buy this again. This is an extremely nice unit. Brought mine out on the trail this weekend, and it passed every test (chopping, batoning, splitting, feather sticks, fatwood shavings, fish cleaning, etc) that I put it through while the blade kept a sharp edge. Firesteel worked great using both the included striker, and knife spine. A bonus to the sheathe is the nice clean edge that I actually used to hone the blade edge to razor sharp.
