I like it I tried out the knives, very sharp. Makes you think that a tougher steak is a filet . In my opionion , a smooth blade cuts steaks better and are easier to sharpen..Serrated knives will cut if they have a longer smoth blade at the tip and are harder to sharpen. Serrated blades are better to cut bread.I sharpen both types
Solidly built sharp knives at an affordable price My wife and i had been looking for a new nice set for about 6 months. The problem we had was wanting nice quality knives in a block that looked beautiful that were also sharp.This set ticks all the boxes. The cherry colored wood is beautiful, the knives are razor sharp, and they are the heaviest handled knifes i have owned which makes them easier to control and feel stronger to use.
Great upgrade from previous set, very professional looking First off, excellent product. Knives have a wonderful feel in your hand. I love the grips and balance. The only reason it got 4 starts is the lack of a scissor slot in the block. In the kitchen that is a key tool and the block is the ideal place but could not find it in the style and price I wanted so I went without. The set looks amazing on the counter and I am very happy with the purchase. This set comes highly recommend.
