Fits under my cabinets while having all I need in handy reach Not a bad set of knives. Have read that people had problems with rust spots. Well in the instructions that came with the knives it recommends that these be hand washed only for several reasons. One, is the spotting problem mentioned. Just giving them a hand wash is not too difficult. Two, it protects the wood grips which have a nice wave like pattern to them and are nice to hold. Three, dishwashing the knives will leave spots and also make the handles look bad and will harm the cutting…
Just “okay”…loses sharpness quickly and rusts easily I waited until I had used these knives for a few months before I wrote the review, so I could get a sense of how good they are. I purchased this item, only to receive an incomplete set the first time. I was missing both of the chopping knives, and some of the other knives had fingerprints on them and appeared to be used. Great Value! These knives are an excellent value. They are easy to sharpen with the steel that is included; they hold an edge and cut very well.. Although they are pretty well balanced. those of you accustomed to expensive, professional grade knives (where one good French knife cost twice as much as this entire set) will find them a little light.
