Stays cool all day I bought these to go in my child’s Lands End lunch box along with her Yumbox and two of them fit perfectly in the inside pocket without making the bag to heavy. I put them in around 8am and when we get home at 5:30pm they are still cool to the touch.
Inadequate Performance Individually and as groups (of four) these don’t get all that cold nor remain cold for more than 1-2 hours. I’m quite disappointed with them. The old fashioned larger, rectangular block I was gifted from my parents stays cold (and I mean ice cold) for 12 hours — it only thaws 20% but remains cold. These “Chilly” units are 100% thawed and warm by hour 4 out of the freezer.
Not Recommended I purchased these back in August of 2016 in an effort to find an good alternative to the “Fit & Fresh Cool Coolers Slim Lunch Ice Packs – Set of 4” (The popular one with the Penguin on it that has over 3000 reviews) ice packs after they “broke” from normal wear and tear after a little more than two years use.
