The Chinook Cot would never lay flat. It collapsed … The Chinook Cot would never lay flat. It collapsed on me twice, because the legs do not have a pin or locking device.The large adjustment knob broke on the second time it collapsed. The thing is a pile of junk now. The Chinook developers but all the money and innovation into the padding section of the cot, and zero money and innovation on the legs and adjustment knobs. It is not worth the money. I am sending it back ASAP!!!
Well made and comfortable. Used on recent camping trip to the Mexican … Well made and comfortable. Used on recent camping trip to the Mexican Sierra Madre. Adjustable legs are necessary on six legged cot to conform to uneven ground. Leg adjustments worked OK but appear to be a little light duty, reason for only four stars.
