Compatible with MEGA AND DUPLO BLOCKS!!! These are so rad!!! Iâm stoked to have them in our block collection!! I can go on and on and on about the importance of block play and little ones and the many different things you can teach with them but….you can look that up on the Googles.I was cautious after some of the reviewers said these didnât work with their blocks and I was prepared to send them back. They fit perfectly with our blocks though, with only one exception….not all of my Mega Blocks were created equally…
These DO work with Lego Duplo pieces. These DO work with Lego Duplo pieces. No, they’re not the same gage/weight, but they solve a problem that Lego seemingly won’t address, which is: [prior to purchase of these] not having enough base plates to keep everyone happy. My three granddaughters still squabble over who gets certain colors, but being able to create lots of dwellings that won’t tip over on carpeting, thanks to these secure baseplates, makes constructive building playtime more fun. Almost but not quite entirely unlike Duplo This is a real review for something I paid full price for. I do not trust reviewers that received a free or discounted item.You can tell these are inferior to real Duplo pieces as soon as you hold one. The plastic is lighter and thinner than the ABS real Duplo/Lego is made out. You can see the width of plastic making the connecting holes is thinner. But these are less than half the price of the equivalent Duplo pieces so that is forgivable. You do get a nice variety of colours,…
