The Cobra MR HH450 DUAL is an all-terrain-radio for use on boats, ATV”s, snowmobiles, and road trips. Allows for replay of missed VHF calls with Rewind-Say-Again technology. Maintain privacy with 1815 GMRS privacy combinations. Floating design and orange core makes retrieving the radio easy if dropped overboard. Weather alerts with S. A. M. Good radio, just not quite exactly as expected. We use the Cobra hh350 radios at work all the time. Just tried a couple of these HH450’s out, specifically for the rewind feature. Working in sometimes loud environments on and around ships, I hear “what did you say?” on radio a lot. Rewind works, but the huge disappointment is that it’s inaccessible with key lock on. I need key lock on so as I’m walking around bumping the radio on things the channel doesn’t get changed. Hoped to be able to just reach down and quickly hit rewind anytime I…

Average preformer… only slightly bettter than superstore two packs… Overall it works good. Not as good as I had hoped, but still good. At this point I have only used it in GMRS band. Communicates as far or slightly better than the top of the line GMRS/FRS Motorola Blister pack two packs. Side by side (when compared to Motorola T600’s) It has farther broadcast range, but falls a little short on reception. No Consumer Grade 2 Way Radio is Perfect – This One is Fine. Cobra has still not fixed the battery gauge issue that dates back to at least 2015. The Lithium Ion pack on my 2018 model showed a full scale charge right out of the box, but died after less than an hour during set up and took 5 hours to fully charge- so it was not fully charged as indicated. I made a point to check the LCD battery status indicator on my new 2018 radio at initial assembly because I wanted to see if Cobra fixed the “always fully charged” indication. They haven’t on my…
