This set is a heavy set not recommended for backpacking do to the excessive weight This set is a heavy set not recommended for backpacking do to the excessive weight. The red rubber although is pretty milts off first use so donât expect it to stay on al all. The handles are heavy duty so once the mess of the milt is over they stay in place and lock back against body of pan for storage. I used these pan in many ways over the direct fire with my Colman propane stove and in baking tent (Colman stove with tinfoil dome) worked really good for all three the frying pan is…
Nice cooking set I bought this because I wanted something that would be sturdy and stand up to the backpacking test of cooking over an open fire. It’s a nice set, but a little heavy for backpacking. For regular camping it will be great. Only down fall, don’t use a metal camp spoon or the like to stir your food. It will scratch it up. Wish I knew that!
DO NOT BUY I liked it when I received it but soon the coating peeled off and started rusting. I only used it couple of times at home. NOT EVEN at the comping!! It was such a waste of Money. I was so disappointed on Coleman’s brand name. I bought this with Coleman Speckled Enamelware Dining Kit (Red) because it was cheaper to buy this two item together. It was the worst purchase I ever made on online purchase
