Keeps Drinks Cooler Longer! Great cooler! Had a party for on Labor Day with 40+ people in oppressive heat and humidity and had many other coolers as well full of drinks. This one is the only one that kept ice cubed longer and drinks ice cold. Ice was still in it’s cube form two days later with the continuing heat, while the others coolers were just cool water. Great cooler! Kept in the shade, I was able to keep food ice cold and/or frozen for 6 days! temp was about 85 during the days and 60s at night. I did use salt water bottles and blue ice, and i even had to leave the door open when i got home to melt the ice, it was still solid! Great cooler and much better than any i have every used before. Glad i spent the money!
EXTREME is the word !! The wife and I had second thoughts on buying this cooler, I went ahead AND PURCHASED FOR A TWO WEEK VACATION TO BARKLEY SOUND hoping it would fill the need for a on deck cooler that was able to retain ice for at least four days ? I was pleasantly surprised when it did live up to the EXTREME 5 day ice retention….actually we got more like 7 days of retention, still having a large portion of two ice blocks in the bottom floating around in super chilled water.
