Modifications…. Reading the other reviews (replayreb), I like the idea of a short carry handle, so I added one, and it worked out great. But why stop there. I also hot-melt glued hook&loop to the lid and front, to prevent those tip-over spills. I also need to transport a wide stadium chair. The chair will slip over the handle, but the handle is not long enough to extend out from the top. So, I raised the handle mounting on the back of the cooler about 1.5″. Good size, needs a carrying handle I needed a cooler for spending a couple weeks in the woods for work and I wanted to make sure I could have lots of cold water for the NY hot and humid summer. This was a great size that let me fit several bottles, ice packs, and snacks. How to add a carrying handle to this cooler… I loved the size of this cooler but needed cup holders and a carrying handle for the beach so I added my own. You simply drill a hole down through each of those bulbous handles, pull a poly rope through and knot the ends. Works perfectly and looks like it should be there.
