Fork broke after 1st use We took it out once for camping and it worked very nicely. When we came home, we were washing the silverware and broke the fork immediately. Not that sturdy
The Bowls Are Great I bought this set solely for the 2 unique bowls, which are a hybrid of a bowl and a plate — wide with a low rim. Perfect when going minimalist and you only want to take one item to cover the needs of both a bowl and a plate. The bowls in this kit used to be readily available (they were common at Wlmrt) and then Coleman stopped offering the bowls as items you could buy separately (sometime around the end of 2015 I think). Now this is the only way you can buy these unique bowls, AFAIK.
Not as good as GSI Cascadian I have this Coleman set and 2 GSI Cascadian 1-person sets, and the Coleman has been used only once and never come out of the bag since. Plate vs. plate: GSI is a little thicker, knife marks don’t mar the surface as much and the surface has a little texture so they don’t feel as greasy. Utensils: GSI again is a little thicker and doesn’t feel like it will break as easily as the Coleman (I haven’t broken any utensil yet, so this is just speculation). Cups: the Coleman cups can’t be stacked…
