Very flimsy, don’t expect to actually use it for camping I had a kit like this as a kid that I used for years. I was excited to give this to my son who is a boy scout. But I was really disappointed in the quality of this kit. The price was right, but the aluminum is extremely flimsy. The handle on the pan bends even when there is very little food in the pan. Feels more like a toy then a legitimate mess kit.
It’s a great lightweight mess kit for 1-2 people. Perfect for lightweight backpacking. Iâve wanted to camp more for a while now, so I finally got a group of friends together and did it. I purchased this set as a rudimentary set to use, and was supposed to be one of two people to bring âdishesâ into camp. Quality set that gets the job done for a great price So this is your basic ultra light cook set.
