Bad Coleman Cooler – Cheaply Made Handles After lots of research I had high hopes for this cooler. Unfortunately, Coleman let me down. The cheap plastic handle was broken when the box arrived. Can’t use cooler at all. The way Coleman packages their products is ridiculous – no protection at all. Also, the fact that a $90 cooler can’t be engineered with stronger handles (think metal, not plastic parts Coleman engineers) is beyond stupid. A Very Good Cooler For The Price This is not a $400 roto-molded cooler; it’s current price is on Amazon is as low as $76.20 and it’s probably not bear proof. That being said, I’m very happy with the performance of this cooler. I bought it for a trip where it stayed in the back of our SUV for 3 days during daily temps of 60-70 degrees filled to capacity with meat and 20 lbs of ice. At the end of the three days, most of the ice was left, the meat was still cold and items that were packed as frozen were still frozen. Although…
