Makes great coffee Best coffee i’ve had straight, came out of this percolator on a sunrise hike to the peak. The handle does come off every now and then when stored in a pack but it’s easy to put on. You also want to use some kind of paper filter to put your coffee in so that u don’t get so many grounds in ur cup of joe. I used a regular filter by just poking through the percolator straw coming through the small basket. Overall works just like it’s intended to and gets u that good cup of mountain cowboy coffee…
Great coffee maker for camping We took this camping over New Years and my husband was “a happy camper” because of this – he can’t function until he has coffee. When we camp we usually have to leave in the morning to go scout out a coffee shop so that both of our days aren’t ruined.
