The Coleman Ripstop Cargo Short will quickly become your summer favorite. The Ripstop fabric is super durable and dries quickly. The partial elastic waistband ensure a comfortable secure fit and the adjustable belt is removable with a quick release buckle. The upper front pockets and back pockets have mesh lining so if you find yourself in the water they’ll drain quickly. The Cargo Pockets have secure velcro closures and have an added pocket above each, one for a cell phone with velcro closure and one with a secure auto-locking zipper. A total of 8 pockets, a comfort fit and ability to perform on land and water this is the only short you’ll need this summer!

Surprising stylish and fit. This many very well be the first Coleman clothing I have purchased. The brand to me had a stereotypical presumption of being all about function and durability like their general outdoors camping oriented goods (lanterns, thermoses etc.). When I saw these shorts advertised they looked similar in style to other more fashion-oriented but less rugged made brands like Columbia. And I liked the Columbia’s fit and styling but wanted a little more durability in the fabric thickness as an anti-wrinkly…
Buckling under the pressure. I tried on my new Coleman Men’s Hiking Cargo Shorts today for the first time. Waist is fine but the legs are pretty tight verging on uncomfortable. My thighs aren’t over muscular so I think these would fit best for someone with slimmer legs. I realize this is the current style but still how about a little more leg room? Way too small I am not a small guy, I am fully aware of that – and order clothes larger than needed. I am probably a true 38″/39″ waist at 6’5″ I ordered the 2xl – which is listed as a size 44-46, which would be plenty of room, especially with an included belt. Measurements were probably closer to a 36-38″ waist. So not remotely close to the sizing guide. That being said… They seem like a fine pair of shorts, and I have no issues with the quality or manufacturing – strictly a size issue.
