Hiking 6 miles, right out of the box. I bought these shoes to hike the trails around and near North Bend, Washington. I am impressed because the first day they arrived they felt great. I was going to just go on a mile or two hike, but my dog wanted to walk more so I kept going. Taking the John Wayne-Pioneer trail, I put in over 6 miles. My feet were kinda sore ( new shoes felt tight at the end), but no blisters. I usually wear in new hiking boots, so i would suggest breaking them in a couple times before a longer hike. I would…

Mixed Quality / Reconsider Your Normal Size The Good: These shoes are very nice-looking. In fact, they look much better live than the picture. The outer tread and uppers seem to be made of high quality material. The upper material is strong on the sides for good support on uneven terrain. Tight!!! Listed size is definitely not correct. Bought a size 12 UPDATE: I’ve had these shoes for about a week now and I’ve worn them everyday. They stretched out well enough to just fit me. As mentioned in the original review, I bought a full size up from my normal 11s, and the shoes just fit. I can wear them with a medium weight sock, but any thicker and they are too tight. These shoes won’t keep your feet warm, but they should keep them dry. I did a short 3 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail in about 1/2 inch of snow and mud (and a few shallow puddles),…
