Durable water proof hiking shoes. The only thing about the shoes that wasnât right for me was the height of the ankle sides. They were too high and rubbed on my ankle bones. Not comfortable. I alleviated the problem my adding thicker insoles and they feel just fine.
Tired dogs Cozy shoes I’ve been a fan of Columbia shoes for a bit. These fit well, but a hair roomy for a 10. Not an issue. The tongue is a little short so it can dig in a bit with the laces tied. Also, the rear part of the heel rubs a bit. Otherwise, the shoe is great: good support and padding. Walking for 3 days in Vegas right now on these shoes. My dogs are tired, but not barking.
Great price. Removable insole. Perfect for custom orthotic insole users. This order is for my 3rd and 4th pairs of Columbia Men’s Granite Ridge Hiking Shoes. I replaced the last pairs because they eventually wore out on the outside of the toe right behind the rubber toe cap after daily wear as my primary shoe. The lugs on the soles lasted about 18-24 months each during casual wear in the house and out and about (with little to no hiking activity). I require a lot of extra arch support, so I use custom-fit orthotic insoles. Most shoes that I see in stores today…
