Best Hiking Shoes I’ve Had I am a woman who wears men’s hiking boots because I like that they’re slightly wider than the women’s versions. These shoes are so incredibly comfortable and I’m so glad I got them. They arrived a week before a 3-day trek up Mt. Rinjani in Indonesia. I really thought I just needed to go through a break-in period and get used to the way they fit and support. I have been trying since August… too long to send back.So what’s wrong with them? The best way to describe the feel of the shoe is to imagine standing on a 3D mirror image of the bottom of your foot. It has the opposite of arch support, and has pressure points…
