Good design and quality This is the second lunchbox like this my husband has used in the last 7 years for work 5 days per week. It has a hard plastic liner inside the cloth exterior and a plastic divider. He uses a small ice pack on 1 side of the divider next to his 16.9 oz. soda bottle, and his sandwich on the other side. Works very well. After 6 1/2 years the plastic liner cracked on the corner so we replaced the lunch box. My husband wanted the same exact version as he likes it so much.

I recommended using only Soft Side “Squishable” freezer packs with this … Bought this particular item to replace an older version “California Innovations” velcro-able student lunchbox that finally wore out. Gave this item a 4 star rating based solely on its Exterior features and quality (The inner plastic liner started breaking and cracking after a few weeks of use with my sons freezer pack). Personally, I recommended using only Soft Side “Squishable” freezer packs with this one. Other than that little issue, its seems well worth the $$

Coming apart at the seams My son puts the lunch bag in his backpack and only carries it by the strap during lunch period. He also only brings lunch 1-2 times per week as he more often goes out to lunch and the hand strap completely came apart at the seam. The shoulder strap is starting to open at the seam by the buckle. Very poorly made for a reputable brand.
