This kind of bothered me at first glance but once I got them on I was ok with it as they fit low like I like and look very stylish. They are a true 6″ inseam and I usually get a 7″ short but the leg openings are perfect – not too tight. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they are 100% nylon and adding 2 or 3% spandex would have made a world of a difference when bending or squatting as the…
i actually wear a size 10 in jeans and an when I’m having a GREAT day! I seriously think the shorts had to be marked incorrectly. The LARGE, according to the sizing chart corresponded to sizes 12 to 14.
Roomy in the waist, comfortable, and flattering I ordered a size medium, along with a couple of other outdoorsy shorts (Royal Robbins Backcountry, and Exofficio Nomad shorts). I intend to use these shorts for camping, hiking, and an upcoming Disney World trip. These shorts were the second favorite of the three pairs I bought. The Columbia Women’s Coral Point II Short is slightly roomier in the waist than the Exofficio Nomad shorts, so I will have to wear a belt to keep my underwear from poking out when bending over.
