Plus size? Order one size up. If you’re curvy, I recommend ordering a size up. I ordered exactly my size, and they were a little tight in the belly and over the knee. I have a larger midsection and these have a high rise waist with a button and a zipper, so keep that in mind. Field Tested In the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Excellent Pants! I cannot imagine why Columbia uses the pictures above to show what these pants look like. They make the pants look far less flattering than they actually are (they’re pretty cute!). I usually wear a 4 and ended up sizing up to a 6S for these because they are thin fabric, and tight + thin fabric = not attractive (I’m 5’2″ and weigh about 120lb).
