Great for backpacking — made an awesome tent foyer floor cover Used this as a mini tarp floor of our tent foyer on my first ever backpacking trip. Was great to keep our backpacks off the floor since there was no room in our two-person tent, plus made a good space to sit and get ready while in our socks while getting in/out of our tent. Will definitely carry it whenever we backpack, it folks quite small and light. Really appreciated the loops at each corner — we tucked them under the foyer stakes or around the tent clips so that this stayed in place.
Dirt and dust cover, not for water or even damp surfaces. This is great ground cover to have on hand for impromptu picnics or other needs. However it is really only effective for protection from diet or dust. It is very effective against any kind of wet or even mildly damp (like slightly dewy grass) ground.We discovered this when we placed this on a lawn that seemed mostly dry. After some time we all came away with wet butts, and butt marks on this product where the dampness had seeped through.I suppose one possibility is…
Great product! I recommend I bought this to take to Disneyland. I just got back from a 3 day trip and it worked really well. I used it to sit on while waiting for parade and fireworks to start, and I also used it for warmth while watching the World of Color show. I opened it up fully, put it around my shoulders, tied the corners around my neck and it did the job! You can stuff it back in the bag (rather than folding it up) which is what I did while I was walking out of the park after the show ended. It was tight,…
