Shake Gently or it will break Contigo usually comes out with thoughtfully designed, high quality products that aren’t too expensive. I really loved this thing because it seemed really sturdy while being much cheaper than other blender bottles. The rounded bottom is really good for not getting powder or whatever else stuck down in the corner since there is no bottom corner. I like packing a lot of stuff in my drinks (juices, powders, chia and flax seeds, oatmeal, shredded coconut) and the blender ball usually has no problem…
Keep shaking, we are. I purchased the one with the black top because it was the cheapest. I was pleasantly surprised because this is a very nice mixing bottle. The cap screws on and off easily and you can give it a spin and it turns freely. The lid snaps in with a pop and I have not experienced any leaking. I use it three times a day. The top opens with a little resistance and is not hard to use. As Arnold might say, only a girly man would complain about this top. My wife who has very strong hands can flip it open…
Bottle Leaks I purchased the Contigo Shake & Go bottle with storage and unfortunately, I have quickly found that the bottle leaks when turned to the side or shaking. This kind of defeats the purpose of having a shaker bottle since every time I have tried mixing protein it leaks and goes everywhere as I try to mix my protein. I have checked the o-ring underneath the lid for cracks or imperfections but have found nothing. Even when laying on it’s side in a bag it leaks. If you were to use this product…
