Like all Corelle dinnerware, Simple Lines is made of laminated layers of glass that produce incredible strength while being very lightweight, thin, and stackable. Great set My parents had big square plates previously that they hated because they don’t have a dishwasher and the dishes were ridiculously heavy (but they were nice big plates so of course everyone used them all the time). These are nice and light, yet still large. The box arrived well-packaged, and I opened it to make sure everything was intact – it was. I also didn’t notice any chipping or scratches or anything like that. The bowls are a nice size, but the shape is a little problematic for stacking,…
Beautiful and Sturdy These plates were a gift, however I needed to open the shipping box and the product in order to check them when the shipping box arrived destroyed. The dinnerware miraculously was unscathed and held up to the beating the product got during the shipping process. This alone is a testament to the quality of the dinnerware.
First Corelle set and I will never go back! I love how indestructible this set is. The plates feel thin and therefore fragile, but I have smashed them together, dropped them, and been generally rough on them since day 1 and they still look brand new. Absolutely no chips or cracks or breaks. I have never owned Corelle before I really really like it. The pattern is beautiful of course, and it does not chip or rub off at all.
