Soft and huge, but don’t expect much after the first wash These beach towels are MASSIVE and soft. I could not award 5 stars because they do lose a little bit of softness after laundering only once. This was totally expected especially given the price, but a bit disappointed that it happened after only one trip into the washer/dryer. Great value and good just if you need to keep a towel around. Would probably spend a little extra money and get a higher quality one if I expected to use it more often.
It’s a versatile towel. They are very thick, like you like a bath towel to be, so much so that it took two drying cycles to dry the first one. And it left quite a bit of lint in the lint catcher, too. I haven’t washed the second one yet. I was also disappointed that there was a defect in the towel resembling a little bald spot. It is pretty thin, but suitable for laying on I bought this towel to replace an old quilt we usually use as our beach blanket. First, I wouldn’t exactly call it a Luxury beach towel. It is pretty thin, but suitable for laying on. Second, it’s big enough for a couple of people, but don’t expect to sprawl out. It is not the size of a large blanket if that’s what you’ve been used to.
