updated… 1/19/18 First day. Sold. Great pants. Just received today but I already know they’re gonna be great. I’m wearing them as chef pants. Lightweight durable material, lots of pockets in a good configuration, just the right fit for me- not baggy but also not too tight.Update 1/18: I got a second pair for christmas. Strange fit, strange smell, not much of a bargain. But I’m keeping these. Beware a very strange fit. These are very snug through the waist and seat, even allowing for the elastic waistband. Also, they are quite long for their stated size. As it turns out, that’s exactly what I wanted. But chances are you are not shaped at all as I am. These 40×36 fit more like 38.5 x37.5. Be advised.The fabric is very light weight polyester ripstop (the tag claims 65/35 polyester/cotton). They’ll be nice come summer, but I don’t see wearing them around in January…

A lot of guys I know swear by their 511 pants, but I just couldn’t justify spending $80 for a pair of pants that I was going to abuse the heck out of them.
